Awards presented to public servants: Law Enforcement Officers of the Year: Officer James Gore, PPD, & Deputy Robert Norman, ECSD; Paramedic of the Year, Mark Rea, ECESD, and Fire Fighter of the Year, Jim Jennings, Myrtle Grove Station, Escambia County Fire-Rescue as well as Teachers of the Year, Jennifer Neal, Pensacola Bch Elem School, Curtis Farmer, Warrington Middle School, and James Bobbitt, Pensacola High School. Officer Gore, Deputy Norman, Paramedic Rea, and Fire Fighter Jennings were honored for their professionalism and service to the citizens of Pensacola and Escambia County. Jennifer Neal, Curtis Farmer, and James Bobbitt were honored for exceptional teaching and dedication to their students and community.
